WHY KERALA IS KNOWN AS GOD’s OWN COUNTRY


According to Hindu mythology, Kerala was built by Lord Parshuram, the incarnation of Lord Vishnu, who, by throwing his ax across the ocean, to create a new land for his devotees to live peacefully. Therefore, Kerala is God's own creation, so it is called God's own country! There are many temples, churches, mosques, etc. and people of different religions live together happily without any problem. With the beauty of nature and diverse culture and traditions ... Kerala is very unique and it is indeed God's own country.

In South-India, Kerala is often called God's own country. This beautiful land is said to be a perfect heaven, which is given to its green landscape and crystal clear beaches, which will leave you dislocated. With natural beauty and ecological diversity, there is a lot of tourists and travelers , in Kerala. Kerala is an exotic place, there is no extreme climate to harass you. Climate conditions are so good that neither hot nor very cold. Another aspect of calling Kerala a country of its own is that it does not have extreme climate compared to the neighboring states of Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. If you have not been affected yet, then it should change your mind. Kerala celebrates the festival. The festivals of the temple are kept in the scales, which are large at large.

  • Kerala is blessed with ancient beaches. Kovalam, Varkala, Kappad, Payyambalam are some of the beaches that will surely travel. Muzhappilangad, the only one drive in beach in South India, these beaches should definitely be at the top of your list.
  • Houseboats on the backwaters of Kerala offer more peace to the travelers. Kerala Backwater is a network of interconnected canals, rivers, lakes, and inlets, 900 kms. It is a complex system formed by more waterways.
  • The food in Kerala is very yummy and unique. Rice is the main food and non-vegetarian food can be found easily. Cooked seafood in coconut gravy,  you should try atleast once to eat.
  • Kerala has preserved 'Kalaripayattu', the ancient art of martial arts. In fact, many timeless traditions can be seen in Kerala, whether it is dance form, sports, Ayurveda, herbal spas and more.
  • Periyar National Tiger Park in Kerala, the eravikulam Reserve, Silent Valley Park, is home to the Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary, Wayanad Reserve, where no one can see the rich flora and fauna. In fact, there are other popular hill stations in Munnar, Wayanad, Ponmudi, which are close to a nature in Kerala.


Kerala is known as God's country, enriched in the social and cultural sphere. There are some things about Kerala that have to be highlighted:
  • Festivals like onam, vishu, thiruvathira etc.
  • Onam festival is one of the best in kerala, it consists of -:  Feasting, Aranmula rank boat race, Thrikkakara Temple celebrations, Onam week, Panther or tiger play or pulikali
  • Houseboat at Alleppey
  • Waterfalls
  • Various art
  • Kozhikode foods items
  • Kerala is famous for its temples, especially naalamblam(four temples)
  • Natural beauty such as Idukki, Wayanad etc.
